Christopher Deehy was appointed as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Labour and Employment National Section. He previously held the positions of Vice-Chair and Secretary.
This section of the Canadian Bar Association brings together jurists in the field of labour and employment Law, who provide expertise and competence in dealing with the various concerns experienced in the context of labour relations, trade unions, boards and tribunals, employment standards, collective agreements and arbitrations of labour disputes. It takes into account the views of employers, employees, unions and adjudicators in all its activities.
