Meal delivery to those living with a loss of autonomy: A second year of volunteer activity for our students and articling students

July 22, 2014

For a second consecutive year, our students, articling students as well as two lawyers rolled up their sleeves to help people in need. This volunteer activity was initiated by an articling student, Valérie Giroux, and implemented with the support of the Recruitment Committee.

The LRMM team went to Santropol Roulant, on June 27th, July 4th and 11th, to pack and deliver delicious hot meals, both on foot and by bicycle, to people living with a loss of autonomy.

The team had fun and was happy to help Santropol Roulant, an organization founded in 1995 by a group of young adults who sought to use food as a vehicle to break social and economic barriers between generations and cultures. The pictures reflect the great enthusiasm shared by all those who participated.
