On December 9, 2022, Antoine Leduc, Ad. E., will be giving a conference at the invitation of the Barreau du Québec, along with Stéphane Rousseau, Ad. E., entitled “Sustainable Finance, Climate Change, ESG Criteria and Real Estate: Are You Ready for A Sea Change?”, as part of the symposium “Développements récents en droit de l’environnement 2022”.
In addition to this presentation, the 19th edition of this annual symposium will offer an overview of environmental law and will also deal with the following topics: the new “Municipal Authorization Regime for Activities in Water Environments”; governing the environment in Québec : provincial prevalence in case of same object; the burden of proof of administration in administrative Justice for the application of a contextual test; the immediate application of the Environment Quality Act and its regulations; the Canadian federal government and the Environment: from specific interventions to global actions; carbon neutrality. Chaired by Odette Nadon, Ad. E., it will also bring together the following speakers: Chloé Fauchon, Daniel Bouchard, Camille Nadeau, Guillaume Pelegrin, Gaëlle Obadia, Jonathan Coulombe, Anne-Frédérique Bourret, Robert Daigneault, Thibault Daoust and Simon Pelletier.
