International Privacy and Security Forum

April 4, 2019

Nancy Cleman will be part of a panel of experts who will explore the practical consequences of Canadian privacy law for global companies. An examination of the best practices for doing business in Canada in light of the existing privacy and security landscape is also on the agenda of this forum organized by HB Conferences Litigation.

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner is currently working on defining the bounds of a Canadian Right to be Forgotten. CASL penalties are real and jurisdictional issues are complex.
