CYBERSECURITY CONFERENCE
Cyber attacks against companies and their executives are becoming more frequent and few companies in Quebec have taken measures to protect themselves against this growing threat.
In an effort to increase client awareness and understanding of the vulnerabilities and risks involved, LRMM hosted a conference on data theft and invasion of privacy on September 26th.
A panel composed of Robert Masse, national partner in Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice, and two lawyers from our firm, Nancy Cleman and Simon Rainville, exchanged views and informed participants of the need to develop an action plan to ensure their personal safety and that of their company. Hélène B. Tessier, partner and head of our Civil and Commercial Litigation group, acted as moderator.
The conference ended with a cocktail party where participants had the opportunity to continue the discussions with the speakers.
