Marion joined our firm in 2024 as an insurance law paralegal.
Marion has over 25 years of experience in the legal field and has worked for several renowned firms in Montreal. She has developed solid expertise in many areas of law, in particular civil and commercial litigation and insurance law. She also has expertise in notarial and financing law, real estate and co-ownership, as well as tax law.
As part of her job, Marion drafts correspondence and procedures, summarizes examinations, expert reports and other documents, in both French and English. She analyzes quantum, verifies undertakings made during preliminary examinations, prepares authorizations for access to information, and handles procedures and follow-up with various organizations. She assists lawyers in the various phases of the file up to trial, completes settlements, and prepares statements of legal costs. Marion also conducts jurisprudence and doctrinal research.
Finally, based on her experience in notarial services and financing, Marion also performs due diligence and title searches using various public government registries (Quebec Land Registry, Registry of Personal and Movable Real Rights “RPMRR,” Bankruptcy Registry, and others) to conduct searches and publish registrations or discharges.
Marion is also a commissioner for oaths for Quebec and outside Quebec.
