Alexandra Lamothe joined the firm as an associate in the summer of 2025.
As part of her studies, Alexandra distinguished herself in the field of trial advocacy. In fact, she had the opportunity to take part in a mock trial before a Quebec Court judge and represented the Université de Sherbrooke in the Charles-Rousseau moot competition, in which various teams from the French-speaking world plead on a topical issue.
She began her career as a student with a major Quebec insurer and quickly rose through the ranks to become an expert in debt collection. Following her studies, she completed her articling at the Barreau du Québec, where she practiced as a litigator.
She is now a member of our Litigation, Insurance and Professional Liability team. Her practice focuses on civil and professional liability, civil litigation and construction. She is regularly called upon to represent the interests of our clients before the various judicial and administrative tribunals of Quebec, both as plaintiff and defendant, and favors alternative dispute resolution.
Alexandra also has a passion for reading. Her curiosity and passion lead her to deepen her knowledge in various fields, including politics, history, sociology and, of course, law.
