Legal assistant in civil & commercial litigation

Your role and main responsibilities

Draft and follow up on procedures and correspondence
Prepare the usual procedures and other documentation required for the accomplishment of mandates
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rules and procedures
Proactively support professionals in the management and follow-up of their files
Ensure the maintenance of the agenda and files, including the management of the assigned professionals’ schedules
Remind and follow up with current and potential clients in a professional and courteous manner
Prepare the documentation required for the various events on the agenda
Prepare the usual documentation, letters of offer, contracts, resolutions, notices, etc.
Proofread and correct documents
Prepare expense allocations
Perform any other related tasks or responsibilities.

Your profile

DEC in legal secretarial work
8 years experience as a legal assistant, ideally in litigation or commercial
Experience in litigation
Bilingual (fluent in French and English)
Mastery of the Microsoft 365 suite

Excellent communication, organization, collaboration and teamwork skills
