Due to the continued growth of our tax planning group, LRMM aims to expand the team.

We are currently seeking a tax attorney with at least 2-5 years of experience in developing tax planning strategies for commercial transactions, including the incorporation of corporations, the establishment of partnerships or trusts, asset transfers, and corporate reorganizations.

A global vision of the files. Our tax specialists are all called upon to be actively and significantly involved in all stages of a mandate: developing the tax strategy, carrying out and documenting the transactions, providing technical support, managing the file with the client, etc.

Required qualifications:

  • In-Depth Tax Program, D.E.S.S, or master’s degree in taxation or in the process of obtaining one.
  • Member in good standing with the Barreau du Québec; and
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English.

  • Possesses strong legal research and analytical skills, as well as experience in reviewing and drafting contracts of all types.

Experience and expertise in the following areas are assets:

  • Estate Planning;
  • Reorganization of owner-managed businesses;
  • Knowledge of tax databases (Taxnet pro, CCH AnswerConnect, Tax Find, etc.); and
  • Related regulated areas.
