Lagani\u00e8re in the acquisition of more than 10 million-square-feet of land from Shell Canada.<\/p>\n<p>This complex transaction involved several stakeholders, including the City of Montr\u00e9al-East, Fondaction, Investissement Qu\u00e9bec, the City of Montr\u00e9al, Hydro-Qu\u00e9bec and Lafarge Canada, as well as Shell offices in Houston, Toronto and Montr\u00e9al. The land had been put up for sale in June 2016 and discussions between Shell and Lagani\u00e8re were held for a little over a year.<\/p>\n<p>The LRMM team assigned to this file consisted of Cindy Afram and Martine Comeau, both notaries, Val\u00e9rie Giroux, attorney, and Elena Nanocchio, paralegal.<\/p>\n<p>Groupe C. Lagani\u00e8re is a family-owned company specializing in the remediation of contaminated sites and the conducting of environmental assessments.
