Alexandra Barkany joined our team as a student in the summer of 2019.
She completed a Bachelor of Laws degree from Université de Montréal, during which she participated in a student exchange at the University of Bologna, Italy. She also pursued a Master’s degree at Université de Montréal, while working as a research assistant. Her Master’s thesis, which received an “outstanding” mention, focused on the legal framework governing public disclosure in the healthcare sector.
Committed to social justice, Alexandra sits on the board of directors of a community organization that defends the rights of the unemployed and promotes popular education.
