Yasmine Shadman joined our team as a student in the summer of 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor from McGill University.
Throughout her academic career, Yasmine articled in several law firms and volunteered in legal clinics specializing in intellectual property, entertainment law, corporate and commercial law, immigration law, employment law, and even food law, among other fields. She also interned in the legal department of a global clothing company, which enabled her to hone her legal research and writing skills.
To further her interest in advocacy, Yasmine participated in the 2021 Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot. She was also involved in the McGill Model United Nations Assembly as Chair of the European Court of Human Rights Committee, which she organized and moderated while leading a team of staffers.
In her spare time, Yasmine enjoys reading, traveling and going for walks around the city.
