Alexandra Barkany
Student

Overview

Alexandra Barkany joined our team as a student in the summer of 2019. She is currently studying for her Bachelor of Laws degree at the Université de Montréal. Before entering law school, Alexandra graduated with distinction from Cégep de l’Outaouais where she studied human sciences.

During her university studies, Alexandra has been very active in community life. She notably interned at a not-for-profit popular education organization that advocates for the rights of unemployed workers. Concerned by the issues related to access to justice, Alexandra also volunteered at a legal clinic and conducted introductory workshops. Eager to broaden her law studies, Alexandra will attend University of Bologna, in Italy, as an exchange student for the fall semester of 2019.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing music and doing outdoors activities. She also has a passion for travelling.
