Catherine Rousseau
Articling Student

Overview

Catherine Rousseau joined our team as a law student in the summer of 2017 and is currently doing her articling for the Quebec Bar. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from the Université de Montréal as well as a Master of Laws degree from Queen’s University focusing on the regulation of cryptocurrency offerings.

During her master, Catherine was a teaching assistant for the corporate law course offered at Queen’s University. She was also selected to present her master’s paper at a conference at the University of British Columbia in May 2019. During her bachelor, Catherine clerked for two judges at the Quebec Superior Court during a period of eight months. She also worked as a student employee in the legal affairs department of the Autorité des marchés financiers.

Catherine currently sits on the Board of Directors of Camp Amy Molson, a non-for-profit organization which goal is to promote the self-development of underprivileged children of Montreal. During her studies, Catherine also sat on the Board of Directors of the Association des étudiantes et étudiants en droit de l’Université de Montréal.

In her spare time, Catherine enjoys acting and practicing yoga.
