Annie Bourbeau began her career in real estate, but transitioned to paralegalism in 2000. In 2004, she joined the firm as paralegal specializing in civil law, and more particularly insurance and commercial law.
She manages pending recovery files for several clients, and supports attorneys in their defence cases.
Annie assists attorneys with trial preparation by conducting judicial, doctrinal and legislative researches, assembles exhibit books, and prepares authority records and trial briefs, in addition to drafting and ensuring follow-up on bills of costs.
Her responsibilities also include conducting Internet searches on the RDPRM, land register, and municipal and school tax websites, and seeing to insurance-related conference certification.
Annie is constantly updating her legal skills by attending conferences and seminars, and participating in a variety of focus groups.
