Nader Khalil works in our Tax and Estate Planning group, where he specializes in the tax planning of SMEs and wealthy individuals.
In 1994, he obtained a Licentiate of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa, and pursued his studies at Université de Sherbrooke, where he obtained a Master's degree in taxation.
Within various Montreal firms and our firm’s own Tax and Estate Planning group, which he joined in January 2003, Nader has contributed significantly to the drafting of various legal opinions in tax matters and to the implementation of structures that were fiscally more advantageous for our clients, in addition to having taken part in the negotiation of commercial transactions. His role includes performing analyses and tax planning for a broad range of companies, entrepreneurs and taxpayers. He provides added value for clients, allowing them to save significant amounts of money in taxes, whether annually, for a major transaction, a business succession, a transfer sale, upon death, or in any other way.
Having given several hundreds of presentations and conferences on tax planning to companies and individuals, Nader is a very popular speaker among business people, accounting firms, financial institutions, brokers, financial advisors and insurance companies. His accessibility and great communication skills make him a much valued key resource in tax matters in the business community of Greater Montreal.
