Howard W. Dermer holds extensive experience in civil business law and commercial litigation. He has handled several franchising cases and has given conferences on the challenges faced by franchisors in litigation with franchisees. Howard has successfully completed a course on mediation in civil and commercial matters offered by the Quebec Bar Association and Harvard Law School. He has also attended numerous conferences in both Canada and the U.S. on litigation, broaching various facets of the topic, namely matters of franchising, leasing and real estate, as well as construction law and financial accountability.
