Overview

Steven Chaimberg has been practising in the field of commercial leasing and real estate law for more than 25 years. He has substantial experience with landlord/tenant relationships, and represents both lessors and lessees in the preparation and negotiation of offers to lease, leases, lease assignments, subleases, and other documents that may be required in such matters. His practice also includes the preparation and negotiation of real property related business agreements, as well as business matters of a more general nature such as acquisitions, divestitures, licencing and franchising.

Steven has spoken at conferences on the leasing of commercial space and has prepared the Quebec caselaw updates for the Canadian Shopping Centre Law Conferences of the ICSC from 1998 through 2012.

He has frequently given conferences on landlord/tenant relationships for The Canadian Institute, Federated Press and MMPI Canada, and currently serves on the board of directors of the Salvation Army Catherine Booth Hospital.
