Overview

Renata Sarur joined the firm in May 2010 as a student. She is a graduate of McGill University, where she studied both civil and common law through the transsystemic program. In August 2008, she participated in a summer program on the juridical redeployment of the European Union at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3 in France. She also participated in a common law student exchange at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, during the fall semester of 2010.

During her legal studies at McGill University, Renata acted as research assistant to Professor Pierre-Gabriel Jobin on a new edition of the book Les Obligations. She was involved in numerous extracurricular activities, including acting as an advocate for Student Advocacy and as a volunteer for the Legal Information Clinic.

Renata was chosen to do a clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada in August 2012.
