Marianne Henry
Student

Overview

Marianne Henry joined our firm as a law student in the summer of 2011. Originally from Montreal, Marianne is presently completing her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Ottawa. She will conclude her studies participating in the University of Ottawa’s civil law coop program beginning in 2011.

Before commencing her study of the law, Marianne took part in Jeunesse Canada Monde en Equateur’s humanitarian assistance project in Ecuador as part of her study program at Cégep André-Grasset. This journey abroad, in addition to completing volunteer hours at Hôpital St-Justine in Montreal, opened Marianne’s eyes to the reality of the harsher situations of our world. These experiences, among many others, brought Marianne to the field of Law which she continues to study with great enthusiasm.

During her free time, Marianne plays two musical instruments: the piano and the saxophone. With fitness as a top priority, Marianne goes horseback riding, runs, swims and bikes. She is passionate about photography and never foregoes an opportunity to travel, whether it be in a third-world country to aid impoverished communities, or simply to go on vacation with family. Marianne enjoys both attending and participating in live theatre performances as an experienced actress.
